Legitimate Interest

Legitimate interest to process contact data for The Camrose Centre for Homeless and Vulnerably Housed People (‘Camrose’).

 

This statement is prepared in recognition of the requirements of GDPR.

The Camrose Centre is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation, number 1188693. It was created to help to people to avoid or recover from homelessness and social exclusion through its day centre in central Basingstoke.

It is necessary for Camrose to collect and store contact details of those individuals and organisations that express an interest in its work. This is in order to coordinate our activities with other agencies in the town, to inform our supporters of our activities and to raise funds for our work.

The data that may be processed includes (but not exclusively); name, email address, telephone number(s), residential/work address, relationship with Camrose (e.g. donor of cash or in kind, service delivery partner, volunteer etc.)

Camrose will store the data on the secure in-house IT system and it may be accessed by appropriate staff, volunteers and trustees.

Camrose will not share any personal data with third parties without the express consent of the data subject. Anyone wishing to withdraw their consent to Camrose processing their personal data may do so at any time by telephoning 01256 320877, emailing info@thecamrosecentre.org for the attention of the Data Protection Officer or by post to The Data Protection Officer, The Camrose Centre, Glebe Hall, St Michael’s Church, Church Square, Basingstoke RG21 7QW.
