Welcome To The Camrose Centre

We help homeless and vulnerably housed people in Basingstoke.

The Camrose Centre is a drop-in centre for anyone who is sleeping rough, homeless or vulnerably housed within Basingstoke and Deane.

Open on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 10.00 am and 2.00 pm, we offer breakfast and a hot lunch in a friendly and non-judgemental environment. A ‘brunchtime’ session runs on Fridays between 10.00 am and 12.30 pm, and our new Sunday lunchtime session now runs from 12.00 pm to 3.00 pm.

We are a place where people struggling with accommodation can find a listening ear and companionship; as well as access to a hot shower, clean clothes, shoes and food packs.

We also distributes tents, sleeping bags and rucksacks to homeless people in Basingstoke when they are available and can help with access to physical and mental health services with a local GP visits once a month.

We also provide information, assistance and the use of a phone to help with legal, financial and addiction issues that these vulnerable people may be facing alone.

Our aim is to promote fulfilling lifestyles, emotional wellbeing and support long-term changes for those experiencing the effects of homelessness, mental and physical ill-health, poverty, substance misuse, domestic violence, unemployment, exploitation and social isolation.
